Document hidden behind Tools

Whn Opening a Document or creating a new file, the window appears behind the Tools, if I drag the window across then hit the green button it locks to Tools as it should... Anyone know why?

It has done this for a couple of versions now and also in Illustrator Beta. (Everything up to date)

It looks like your tools are not docked. Try resetting your workspace by going to Window > Workspace (or the icon in the upper right of the UI) and selecting your preferred workspace. Essentials Classic would have the tools docked if you don't have a preferred workspace.

I have tried multiple workspaces with same result. I have the tools docked to the left edge with blue highlight to indicate...

Its an odd one as it happened overnight at one point and is annoying

I have tried resetting and also all the preset workspaces, the same thing happens. Not critical... Just annoying

This is a real puzzle, its only happening on opening a file, if I move window and click to fit window it snaps properly into place, I have tried every workspace and thing I can think of!
