Hi,
I have some SVGs from Figma that I need for a print project in Illustrator. I was told that SVGs are RGB, so if I export them from Figma, open them in Illustrator, and change the color mode to CMYK, does it adjust the SVG? When I do this, it seems like nothing changes.

If you open an SVG in Illustrator and chang the mode to CMYK all colors get converted to CMYK.
Check the blacks.

An RGB Black will be converted to a mixture of CMYK inks, because an RGB Black is always darker than an 100% Black ink.
But a combination of CMYK values instead of a single Black can become a little fuzzy when they are not printed exactly on top of each other. Sometimes it is preferred to select all the objects with an RGB converted Black and replace them with 100% Black. Talk to your printer.
