Hi! Is there a way to prevent Illustrator from resetting the view rotation when pressing Escape?
I'm trying to edit PDFs in Illustrator. First, I rotate the view 90° so I can read the document in the correct orientation.
The problem I'm running into is that sometimes I accidentally press Escape twice when I'm trying to exit text editing, or to exit object isolation, and then I am back to the original orientation.
I'd like to be able to turn off the Escape key resetting the view orientation.

Shortcuts can be edited in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts
But resetting the rotation via Esc is not in the list.

Right. Ok thank you!
I wish Adobe would take a memo from Jetbrains. They have a way better interface for editing keyboard shortcuts.

Hello @ellierider,
Thanks for reaching out. As suggested by Monika, Illustrator currently does not have this functionality. Would you mind creating a UserVoice for this feature request (https://adobe.ly/41ClirK) and adding your comments there? Doing this will help us prioritize this request, and you will keep getting all the related updates.
Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need assistance. We'd be happy to help.
Thanks,
Anubhav
