Drag, drop and auto distribute images

Is there a simple way to drag and drop multiple images onto an artboard from Finder and have them automatically distribute themselves rather than end up on top of eachtoher? Other apps such as Miro and Figma do this as default and i'd like to be able to do the same in Illustrator too.
