I am a Day-1 novice with graphic programs. I need to edit a number of electrical drawings extracted by saving individual pages from the published pdf document. I have no idea what the original drawing software was (circa 2005), nor how they were converted, exported, ect. for publishing in pdf form. Exemplar document is attached. The attached file seems to be one large single-column table. Using Illustrator, I can select and delete an entire row, but can't seem to get the sections of the drawing to Ungroup so I can select line segments or individual components.

The PDF was created recently:
Created: 05/12/2024, 15:34:53
Modified: 05/12/2024, 15:34:56
Application: Acrobat PDFMaker 8.1 for Word
But unfortunately it contains only images.

Yeah, the schematic drawing is not only pixel-based, but the resulting image has been sliced into several horizontal stripes of separate images. The only thing that can be done with the contents of that PDF is locking the imagery on one layer and using it as a guide to create clean new vector line work above it on a new layer. The drawing work isn't all that difficult, but it will take some time to re-create.

Thanks Bobby -
I didn't expect it to be easy. Having zero experience with Illustrator before this morning, I had no idea where to start. This helps...

You should be able to redraw this schematic in Illustrator.
Have you tried opening the PDF in illustrator?
