Effect Mask for Glow In the Dark Stickers

New Here ,

Hello so I'm trying to get some glow in the dark stickers made and I've got two issues with my file,

1) What I want to do is I suppose have a "mask" where the white A and D section are "clear through" along with the white around the N, so that the glow in the dark material behind it on the sticker can be seen.
It seems from the printing company I'm getting the stickers from I can upload a masking layer, so what is the most efficent way to create a mask that has the white sections only of the AD N(outline)

The print site has me upload the main illustrator file then I can upload a masking file, which would be like what all black except where I want the background material to show through? if so what's the bestway to accomplish that

Outline the text if that hasn't already happened. On this one I think I would outline the strokesin the final art anyway.

Then duplicate the outlined text on a new layer or duplicate the artboard. Make sure the letters do not shift position.

Then Outline the strokes. If necessary (depending on how exactly you built it, you would have to subtract outlines strokes from the fills. Then delete the shapes you do not need.

Ask the production company, which color you should apply to the glow in the dark shapes.
