When using the 'Envelope Distort' > 'Make with Top Object' tool to fit text to a shape, how can you control the letter density to position them the way you want ?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Could you perhaps show a screenshot so that it gets clearer what you are referring to with the density of the letters? Thank you.

yes, of course. the "density" is where the letters are agglomerate. I already tried the 'Mesh' tool, but it doesn't give me the same letter density effect as it does here. Do you know how I can adjust that density, for example to make it more concentrated at the top of the shape?

You need to move the mesh grid lines around until it works.
