Hi.
I need to save my vector files as EPS10 files becasuse I sell my designs on various stock sites and that is the format they require.
When working in CS6 I could use transparent effects, save as EPS10 and those filters would be live and editable when opened in any version of illustrator.
Now in CC, when I save to EPS10, all of the effects are rasterized and flattened, and the stock sites will reject my files.
I see other contributors uploading work with effects all the time.
any ideas on how this is possible?
I have contacted Adobe support and they have no answers.
Thanks

That depends on exactly what kind of transparency you create.
You can only use the kind of transparency that is supported in Illustrator version 10.
So what's in your files?

a drop shadow, for example.

The drop shadow has been changed back in Version CS6 - so it is not compatible with version 10 anymore and will be rasterized when you save to that version.
