Hi!
I have 400 artboards that need to be saved separately as PDFs — so there should be 400 files, each containing one artboard.
Is there a feature in Illustrator similar to “Export for Screens”, but where the output files are in CMYK and each artboard is saved separately?
You can first create a PDF Preset in Edit > Adobe PDF Presets... You can start with duplicating an existing Press Quality profile and changing the settings for Output.
In Export for Screens you can choose PDF and select your custom PDF Preset by clicking the cog wheel.
And dont forget to turn off Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities in your custom preset to avoid that every PDF contains all your artboards.
