Exporting as PDF to scale and dpi

New Here ,

Hello,

I've done an exhibition stand artwork in Illustrator to the dimensions 3m x 2.5m. The printers want the artwork provided in size 280cm wide x 230cm height, scale 1:10, in pdf format, min. 720 dpi. I'm a bit stuck on how to achieve this. Any suggestions?

First of all ask them about the ppi. Is this referring only to the images in the artwork or should the thing be rasterized (which is unlikely, but you never know)

Are there even images placed in it? Or drop chadows used?

Mara,

As I (mis)understand it, you will need to change proportions or leave out some artwork  along the top/bottom, because the proportion 300/250 corresponds to 276/230 and not 280/230.

The other bit about the 1:10 and min 720 PPI (not dpi) is a bit contradictory to the full size mentioned, but it would seem that they may want the artwork at 280 x 230 mm.
