Exporting .png from Illustrator not full resolution

When exporting vector graphics at 300dpi from Illustrator to a .png, I'm not seeing a full resolution image when zoomed in. It is pixelated with jagged edges. I saw this when the 2018 update happened, but then it was fixed with the next update. Now I'm seeing it again. I even tried to update to 22.0.2 and it still doesn't export correctly. Anyone else experiencing this or have a fix? I even tried .tif and .jpg. and they have the same problem.

Thanks.

Previously my exports were able to be zoomed in to be very large in high resolution. I need to make posters and need them to print very large.

Of course you do. Every pixel image will be pixelized when you zoom in.

That's the whole point of pixel images.

Then why do you export a raster image at all?
