Extrude and Bevel Classic brakes the shape

I've encountered an issue with a classic extrude and bevel effect.
Appliyed to ashape it makes a poor results with specific sizes and angles as shown on an attached video.

ften works better with a bit of perspective, but of course you cannot have that here.

How large are those objects? They are huge, right?

To be specific in this particular case the shape brakes when the summ of width and height gets close to 3400 points. I've used extrude and bevel effect (not classic) to solve the problem and it worked ok, but still.

Maybe crete the arwork using smaller objects. It's a vector image, you can expand it later and then scale it.

Or scale it by using the transform effect (after 3D)

I found the way to do the job using a non classic extrude effect.
But this doesn't change the fact, that illustrator has that bug.
