EXTRUDING TEXT DISAPPEARING AND ACCELERATED GPU CAUSING ISSUE

New Here ,
Jan 20, 2024 Jan 20, 2024

I have two issues and have a deadline on design files.

1) Everytime I try to EXTRUDE my text or a logo into 3D, It disappears, I am only left with an outline and the logo disappears. How can I fix this please?

2) Also, when I am opening up files I get an error message about Accelerated GPU out of memory message. What is this?

Please can someone help?

Thanks

Please tell us your computer hardware specifications. Please do not just copy 300 lines of system info. Just the relevant stuff please. Type of computer, amount of RAM, processor and graphic card.

Please show before and after applying 3D effect. Which 3D effect: classic or materials?

Maybe you do not have enough memory to preview the result.

Does your View menu show Outline or Preview?

Hello @Hassan285890142f2t,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind performing a clean reinstallation of the GPU drivers (Intel / NVIDIA / AMD) and setting the Graphics Preference to High-Performance for Illustrator (https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-110) and checking if it helps?

If the problem persists, kindly share more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator, system config (CPU/GPU/Memory), and a screen recording of the problem (https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/screen-record-an-issue-on-windows-amp-macos-f...), so we can investigate this further.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav
