Facing the issue of image/link auto embedded

Hello every one. When I re-open the illustartor file wich contain the linked images, that become the embedded and not shown as link, so if I want to replace the images again I have to relink from the folder and this issue is repeating again and again.
Kindly any one can help to resolve this issue?

Show options when placing an image and check Link.

When saving your file, don't check "Include images". This option embeds them.
