Hello! I'm trying to fit multiple objects (circles) that are all the same size within a shape, and I'd like them to be somewhate evenly spaced. Any ideas how to do that?

If you mean evenly distribute objects like a fill so that they are equidistant from each other, you could make a pattern or try Astute Graphics' ColliderScribe which includes Space Fill https://astutegraphics.com/plugins/colliderscribe.

Hi Joan,

Thanks for reaching out. Try using Distribute Spacing (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/using/moving-aligning-distributing-objects.html) and let us know if this helps.

Regards,

Srishti

Joan,

I believe this script kindly made available by Theunis can do it, just set the maximum and minimum circle size(s) to be identical and calculate the circle size as a percentage of the selected object size,

ColliderScribe looks like it will work perfectly for what I'm trying to do. Thanks so much!
