I added a new font in Illustrator on my iPad. When I click on it the text briefly shows up in the correct font. But when I click out of properties, it goes out of that font, and then the font appears with the orange exclamation point next to it. I tried adding it again, but it says it's already added.
I can't figure out how to delete it to uninstall and reinstall. I downloaded Creative Cloud on my iPad, but the font doesn't show up there.
Thanks!

Are you adding the fonts via the Adobe Fonts service? Or is a font that is installed via an app from the Apple App Store? If the Creative Cloud applications installed on your iPad are signed into your CC account any fonts installed via Adobe Fonts should be visible in the font menu of iPad apps such as the iPad version of Adobe Illustrator.

I added it directly into Illustrator. It doesn't show up in my Creative Cloud, but it does show up in illustrator. You can see in the first photo it appears for a brief second, but then right away it goes back to the default font and has a little yellow warning sign on it. So it's sort of like it's in there, but then there's a glitch. I wanted to try to uninstall it and reinstall it, but I can't figure out how to uninstall it. And I'm not sure what other option I have.

I wonder if there is a technical problem with the font file. I did a quick web search for that typeface; it shows up on free fonts sites like DaFont. The font file is in TrueType format, but it's pretty old (posted there before 2005). Some TrueType fonts can work across Mac and Windows platforms, but there are others that don't. Generally anyone should be careful using fonts downloaded from free fonts sites. Heck, even fonts from the popular Google Fonts web site have plenty of technical issues requiring updates.
If you can't remove the font via the Creative Cloud application I wonder if uninstalling the iPad version of Illustrator and then re-installing it could do the trick.
