Font reverts back to previous font in Document

Illustrator Version 29.1

Wondering if anyone is experiencing any issues where the font reverts back to previous font when making any text changes. I'm hoping this will fix itself in the next update. This issue has only occured since the last update in November '24.

Any suggestion?

The issue appears to be fixed in the beta release.

The best solution I found was to turn off 'Enable Missing Glyph' in your preferences. I've had no font  issue since.

It should be fixed in the general release 29.2.
