HI- I loaded a font family with many weights in Adobe fonts. They all show up in InDesign but half are missing in Illustrator. I spent an hour on the phone with 2 tech support folks who had me uninstall, reboot, etc a few times and still can't get this to work. Does anyone have suggestions? The font is Poppins.

Other trouble shooting steps you could try is signing out of your Creative Cloud account and then signing back in again. That can force the Adobe Fonts cache to refresh itself. Another thing worth trying (if other steps fail) is clearing the font cache files. You'll have to sign out of Creative Cloud and close any open Adobe apps before doing so. Then you sign back into Creative Cloud and force it re-build the cache files. There are different steps how to do delete the font cache files between Mac and Windows platforms.

Poppins is also available via the Google Fonts web site. I think there is a slight time disconnect between Adobe and Google on who gets the latest maintenance builds of a type family. If the version of Poppins carried by Adobe Fonts isn't working properly you could always download Poppins from Google Fonts and install the font files like any standard type family. More often I experience technical problems with fonts downloaded direct from the Google Fonts web site than I do such fonts carried at Adobe Fonts.

I thought there might be a variable version of Poppins available at the Google Fonts web site, but that doesn't appear to be the case. A variable font can provide a work-around for missing "static" styles in a type family.

Is this for Windows? Did you install the font "For all users"?
