What kind of font is it? A PostScript Type 1 font?

In that case: they don't work in the current version and won't work ever again.

Install an earlier version of Illustrator if you want to continue using Type 1 fonts.

If it's not a PotScript font, do you use a font managing application?

What kind of font is it?

Can you download it again and reinstall it?
