Forced shutdown Illustrator with no recovery file

The file I was working on was forced shutdown and the edits from yesterday day was gone. After it reopens, there was no recovery file, no version history from the day. I tried find it in core sync and data recovery in window tab as recommeded by the community and nothing works. My Illustrator desktop app normally would autosave all my edits, but not this time (and the latest version history was "last 16 days"). Can anyone help me, I was working really hard on that. Thank you.

Is it a Cloud file? Or a desktop file?

Remember to save your files. Save backup copies (which means additional copies, preferably on a different volume). Save different versions (which means different statuses of the file with different names). Just one copy of a file has never been a good idea, because when that one fails to save, then saving every couple minutes still will not help.
