glitched "we made sharing easier" pop-up window in illustrator

Lately any time I try to save a file in illustrator I get this window popping up. I'm not sure what exactly it's trying to tell me other than 'we made sharing easier', though I can't really read anything about how 'they' did that since it's out of frame and the window is not scrollable. Is this exclusive to me, or does someone else know how to stop this from popping up? (or at least know how to read the whole thing?)

Thanks!

Hi,

My resolutions have been at default since I've had this machine, but I've verified that they are indeed still default.

Looks like I can't get to that ad anymore, I guess I've surpassed the limited window of it showing up.

One note, I think this resolution issue might be due to me having a second monitor that is 1080p/1920x1080 whereas my main display is set to default, which is shown as 5k, or "Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020" per my 'about this mac' window.

At times I do have the funky situation

Ah, well at least now I know what the window is trying to tell me. At least that person has a full view of the ad!

Hello @NormSto,

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind trying to update Illustrator to the latest version and changing the Display Resolution and Scaling to the defaults (https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/change-your-displays-resolution-mchl86d72b76/mac) and then relaunching Illustrator to check if it helps with the window not showing properly?

Also, if the Share window continues to show up even after being dismissed a few times, kindly try the following steps to manually delete Illustrator's preferences and share your observations:

• Close all Adobe applications.
• Go to the following locations
• ~/Library/Caches
• ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
• ~/Library/Preferences
• Rename Adobe Illustrator, com.adobe.illustrator and Adobe Illustrator 27 Settings folders to Adobe Illustrator.old, com.adobe.illustrator.old and Adobe Illustrator 27 Settings.old
• Launch Illustrator from the Creative Cloud.

Note: Location starting with this "~" sign indicates the User Library, which is hidden. So, you need to copy & paste the exact path in spotlight search or from Finder Menu > Go > Go to Folder > Paste the location in the dialog box like this:

user-library.png

Disclaimer: Please note that renaming preferences folders will remove all the custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also save a backup of the folders in case you want to. The location is mentioned above.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Anubhav

At times I do have the funky situation where my top window controls, aka  'colored dots to close the window' are stuck off screen and I have to turn my monitor off and on again to get it back into place where I can move it around. Maybe this is related to that, my windows getting mixed up which screen I'm using.
