Hello-

I recently had to replace my old Apple external monitor with an LG Ultrafine 4K. I am now having problems with gradients banding (in Illustraotr, InDesign, Preview, etc).  I work on a MacBook Pro. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Thank you-

Bryn

You probablky need to dig into your system's color settings and the color mangement in the Adobe apps. also check for performance and connection issues that may cause switching to lower display qualities.

Thank you! How do you recommend I go about that? The Monitor came with NO information on this topic at all. I have tried Googling but am wasting so much time!

Can you show the gradient and stops?

I could, but it will probably look fine on your computer. It looks fine on my phone. It is just on the new external monitor. But basically I have a gradient of orange to white, and it looks like it has "steps"- it is not a smooth gradient.
