The gradient tool in the latest version is frustratingly buggy when adjusting gradients the toolbox, with several outcomes associated with the same input.
Outcome 1 - Illustrator ignore my input. The gradient toolbox typically will ignore the first attempt(s) at editing the gradient, forcing me to click the same location several times before it registers the input.
Outcome 2 - Illustrator will duplicate the a gradient color several times before I can edit it. This occurs when using the slider to select a color node within the gradient. The resulting motion will duplicate the selected color on the gradient and slide the duplicated color, rather than the selected gradient node.
Outcome 3 - Illustrator will grab random a color node, nowehre near the selected color and force it into ta new position.
I've been using illustrator since version 6, and this is the first time I've had these issues with the tool
