Hello, I am using a laptop with Ryzen 7 5800H chip and integrated graphics card AMD Radeon TM Graphic (If I am not mistaken it's vega 8)

I have updated the current driver to the latest (21.7.2)
I checked that the integrated graphics card supports OpenGL 4.6. OpenGLĀ® Version: 29.20.11000.14742

I don't understand why my AI can't enable Review with GPU. Everything works fine except the zoom is very annoying.

Photoshop and Premiere work very well.
I don't know why and need some help.
Thanks

Hi MRemen,

If you are experiencing similar issues with Illustrator not being able to enable GPU Performance, it's essential to check a few things:

  • Verify if your GPU has at least 1GB of VRAM. You can find this information in Illustrator Preferences > Performance.
  • Ensure that you have the latest GPU drivers installed. Sometimes, even though your GPU supports OpenGL 4.6, outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues.
  • In Illustrator, go to Edit > Preferences > Performance (Windows) or Illustrator > Preferences > Performance (Mac). Check if the "GPU Performance" option is available. If it's grayed out, your GPU might not meet the minimum requirements.
  • Confirm that your system meets the minimum requirements for GPU acceleration in Illustrator.

If you've checked all these aspects and still face issues, please share a screenshot of your GPU specs and Illustrator performance screenshot as shown above.

I hope this helps, and if you have any further questions, feel free to ask!

Best regards,

Anshul
