having problem with direct selection tool

Hello, I am using illustrator version 27.1.1 64 bit and when using the direct selection tool, side rounded points that allow me to round shape corners not showing ( I tried CTRL+H and SHIFT+CTRL+B options but did not help me.

Can you see the View option 'Show Corner Widget'?

What version of Illustrator are you using?

Never checked, I tried it now and it came back to life, thanks Doug so much.

Not entirely clear what you're asking, but if you want to resize objects using the Selection tool (the white arrow is 'Direct Selection' black is just 'Selection'), try enabling bounding boxes (View > Show Bounding Box).
