It could depend on how the file is damaged. Some errors can be fixed, others cannot.

Why are you waiting? Do you feel there must be a super expert here who can repair any file?  You should also start rebuilding the work immediately. You may never hear back from Adobe. And this time Make backups. You will find not much sympathy for people who do not make good, regular, staggered backups.

Sorry to hear about this experience. Would you mind trying to open the file in Adobe Acrobat or Photoshop and resaving the file as a PDF to check if it helps?
