Help! All my illustrations became one image and I can't edit them separately anymore.

I opened my file and noticed that all my illustrations are one image. They are not on the artboard anymore and I can't ungroup them. Could someone help with this? It looks like on image now instead of all those different things I created.

You've opened a PNG, not an AI file. Do you have the AI file to work from?
