I recently updated to 27.0, can anyone help me figure out why illustrator is adding  additional file format extensions when I package a file, for exmaple:

Invisiscar BAs_12wks.psd is now Invisiscar BAs_12wks.psd.psd

INVISISCAR_GOOP_022_V2_FLATTENED_CMYK.jpg is now INVISISCAR_GOOP_022_V2_FLATTENED_CMYK.tif.jpg

Hello @Sonny268097514vsw,

We are sorry for the trouble. We are able to replicate the behaviour on our end. The links have double extensions when packaged. We have logged a bug with the product team for this behaviour.

In the meantime, I would request you to upvote this UserVoice and stay tuned for updates.

Thanks,

Anubhav

I noticed this as well. It's a bit annoying. Glad to hear it is a bug that will be fixed and not a setting I need to change.

I've got the same issue too. One day I will learn to never update to adobe's new releases.
