I am trying to make a 3D ball and stick model (molecules), but I can't get the angles of the sticks to look right. My file is attached. The image included in the file (with the arrows) is what I am trying to get it to look like.

Thanks in advance!

You would have to rotate and position it accordingly.

What you need to create is a slim rectangle (no rounded corners) and then revolve that and bring it into position.

That is what I did first, but because of the angle the stick is coming out of the ball, it doesn't look right at the end.

I played around with it more and got it to work how I wanted, thank you! I guess I didn't fully understand how the shape moved around with the rotations.
