I am new to Adobe and Illustrator and trying to figure things out as I go. I created circles (basically outlines of circles with a color gradient for each one) on Illustrator and every time I copy and paste the image (circles), there are these lines that apper (light blue in color) inside the circle and at where the circles intersect. These lines don't apper on the actual Illustrator document I created, but when I try and copy and paste it into another Illustrator document or Photoshop, I get the lines. How do I remove them?

You did use opacity masks in this artwork?
Or probably live paint?
When copying this kind of artwork to Photoshop it gets rasterized.
But when copying it to another Illustrator document this should not happen.
Do you have any clipboard enhancing system extension installed?
