 how do I fix this blend is sacked! Nor do any of my pens work as others do.. what's wrong with my version???

I see nothing wrong with the blend, going from 6 to 5 quite different letters; there is no way to make it non spooky.

Yocan make a screenshot instead of a photo (where your hands show).

Oh sorry about that... what I mean is how do I make the letter look identical to the originals not muddy and "o" filled in etc

With those two words that is simply impossible.

At least when doing it automatically. Try a manual approach and draw each of the states.

Blends can be difficult to make look like you envision. It helps if the two shapes, SPOOKY and MONTH, have the same number of anchor points in each letter that is being mapped.
