Hotkey for drawing a circle in Illustrator?

Is there a single hotkey I can hit to activate the circle command (like the "C" key in Sketchup)?

How about the rectangle tool?

Hold shift to draw proportional geometric figures

When you hover the pointer over the tools, or when you hold down the mouse button on a tool group menu, if a tool has a single-key shortcut it’s displayed after the tool name for you.
