Hey everyone!

Does anyone know how i can make a drawing with this style?

I am trying to create a drawing for this animal

 

Using this style :

Can this be done in Illustrator? Or am i better off using Fresco?

If anyone can point me to a tutorial for this specific style that would be greatly appreciated!

I have yet to come accross a tutorial for this. Basically you draw the lines using any tool that can draw lines. Then you draw the shading using just shapes.

I tried that but it looked too defined .... i am kind of looking for that drawn by hand look similar to the pictures i posted
