How can I format a chart's scale to millions or billions in Illustrator?

Hi there,

How can I make this chart's scale show millions, rather than the (rather long) number?

I've searched Google long and hard and also searched all the chart options, to no avail. Surely there must be a way of doing this (rather than manipulating the source data, e.g. in Excel, directly)?

Many thanks!

It's possible there's some sort of workaround.. But illustrator isn't really built to be a robust chart making tool. Whatever kind of workaround you find will surely be more difficult than just multiplying all of your spreadsheet values by some scale factor and then indicating that scale factor somewhere on the graph. It should be a matter of a couple clicks to update the source data.
