How can I make all my Illustrations always have a white background

It's annoying to have to create a rectangle the same dimmensions as my artboard and center it every time just so I can have a background. Is there a way to do this automatically?

When do you need to add the background?

If this is for exporting a raster image, you can add it when you export. It's a menu in the file format options.
