I move Illustrator from one display to another (on Mac) several times a day. How does one move the document window along with every palette quickly between monitors while keeping the palette arrangement intact as it is moved?

To move everathing together the panels need to be docked. Save your setup as a workspace (Window Menu > Workspace)

Thank you. My solution was to create a fully-docked workspace which takes advantage of my larger display, and to switch to that one when available.
