How do I save in PDF format on latest version which can be opened in CS6 version?

Hi,

I am using the latest version of Illustrator (I have a subscription) and my colleague uses version CS6.

I need to be able to save my files in PDF format which she can open and edit in CS6.

I know that I can save ai files which are CS6 compatiable, but the company keep all design in PDF format for the ease of sharing with clients.

At the moment when she opens my PDF version in her CS6 version the drawing looks strange, with strange grouping ang extra lines etc.

How do I save my work in PDF format which she can open in CS6 please?

Just save the file as Illustrator .ai and choose version CS6. Make sure Create PDF Compatible File is checked.

When saved, change the extension to .pdf
