How do i see that blue outline when resizing?

how do i get the blue outline, to where you can like preview the transform before applying it?

Exactly what are you doing and seeing?

 

Some things to consider: turn on Show Edges in the View menu

Turn on or off the Realtime Preview in Preferences > Performance

 

Still not there?

GPU preview or CPU preview?

when i try to resize it just moves it and doesnt show that clear outline.

actually everytime i use it illurstor just lags a lot. is there a way to get that trim view without cpu preview
