Hi,

so i updated my Illustrator cc to latest release with crop feature, however the crop feature is so stupid? Who the hell tho this? If i crop image, most of the time i find randomly created white rectangles? How to make them disappear?! Crop would be nice, if you would make it better, not that bad!!!adobe.png

Hi Pan,

Yeah, I was able to reproduce the same with keeping the PPI in play. I would go ahead and report it as a bug. Request you to do it as well. Here's a link for that: Feature Request/Bug Report Form

Regards,

Om

I've been experiencing the same issue for over two years now. It's insanely frustrating and slows down my workflow considerably. I'm at the point where I use a clipping mask to crop instead of the actual crop tool! Ridiculous. Please make the creation of a white border go away.

Wow. I have the same problem, and it drives me totally nuts. It's amazing to me that such an expensive piece of software has a buggy crop function (such a simple thing) that hasn't been fixed in over 3 years. Come on adobe!

I'm here in February 2021 having to consider changing what I know is the best version of my design to hide the buggy white lines around my images.  Extremely frustrating.

If the resolution of your image is not 72 ppi or a multiple thereof like 288 ppi, it would be better to use a clipping mask.
