How to copy mesh attributes to a shape?

I'm trying to copy the attributes of a mesh to a shape whenever I do that the shape becomes transparent .Any one knows how to do that? It would help me a lot thank you.

What do you want to accomplish? Coloring the shape in the same way the mesh is colored?

Apply the shape as a clipping mask to the mesh.
