How to creat an action for Recolor Artwork

New Here ,
Dec 01, 2017 Dec 01, 2017

I would like to easily be able to convert four color process builds to be recolored with a set Pantone libarary.

Is it possible to create an Action to follow the Edit > Recolor Artwork menus and use a specific library every time?

Or create a preset for recoloring?

Unfortunately that's not possible as of now.

I was thinking that was the answer I was going to get. Thank you! I have posted feedback.

i'm looking for this same exact thing.  Another one i haven't been able to get to stick is the ability to keep my PMS coated window anchored permanently next to my other swatches for quick access.  I always have to go to libraries and reload it

Load the Pantone Library.

Select Make Persistant from the panel menu

Drag the panel to your panels.

Create a new workspace.

I have been looking for an answer on this for years!  even more so now . Pantone connect does not do this either - if it did I woud pay for it . I'm trying to make AI make a script to do it but having no luck . But I dont know code- lol
