How to create or find image/icon like the following?

Any hints or learning resources for the following questions will be much appreciated! Thanks! 

1. For this one, I'm wondering where the hand image is from, where can I find it or create it and use it in illustrator.

2. For this one, I'm wondering how to create a strip like this, or where can I find a strip like this or the elements contained in it? Also, how to draw the line like the green and red one?

These sort of questions are difficult to answer, because any basic knowledge of using Illustrator would make them redundant. Have you tried drawing a hand using that one (or preferably a better one) as a template? Or creating the basic shapes in the second image? If so, where have you got stuck?

Sorry, I may not be very specific about my question. I mean, I work in technical writing, and do not have much time to draw a hand or other subjects like this. Are there basic icons, like an abstract hand that I can directly use? Thanks again for your answer!
