THat's happening because the artwork is responsive. It gets fit into the available size. If you uncheck responsive, it should be displayed in the actual size.

Or, when you embed it into your HTML code, do it in the code.

Why does it have to be so difficult? Rhetorical question...

 

To the image subject of this post I added another subject, two dummies with jetpacks. Unfortunately, the output to the browser is correct, but in the WordPress media library or front-end, the trail produced by the jetpacks disappears from the picture.
