How to make adding File Info mandatory

My team and I are really bad at adding File Info/IPTC data to our files. We know how to, of course, but we can't seem to remind ourselves to do this every single time.

Is there a way to make filling in the File Info mandatory in Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop? Or just a way to have the File Info box pop-up whenever we create a new file or on save/save as/export/close...?

Would be a massive help.

thx

Johan

Hello @Johan5E90,

Thanks for reaching out. There isn't any way to have Illustrator or Photoshop prompt you every time you save the file to add the IPTC data. However, you may try using Adobe Bridge which will help you manage and organize this information and files much easier: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/bridge/using/metadata-adobe-bridge.html.

Kindly update this thread if you need further assistance. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks,

Set up "macro"s (something like Quickeys) on your Save, Save As, Save a copy keystrokes to prompt you.
