How to make an object so that nothing exits the lines?

New Here ,

I suppose someone some time ago has answered this question, but i just can't find the one i need.

I am a begginner in Illustrator and im desperate.

Basically im designing a hoodie and i need the logos and text on the sleeve, but i want to make it so that when i move the text, it dissapears kind of when it exits the lines of the hoodie. So how can i make the hoodie outlines be the prominent ones so, that nothing goes beyond those lines? Reference photo attached.

You would have to make a clipping mask that follows the outline of the sleeve.

Or use the "Draw Inside" mode, which you can find at the bottom of the Tool Bar.

My first thought too, but I got the impression the hoodie was a raster image.

In both cases you will need a real path of the Hoodie"outline". This could be the clipping path of the image, for example.
