Hi,

I am a total newbie in illustrator and I have these lines on a document and for the life of me I can't figure out how to get rid of them. Do you have any idea about how can i remove these lines?

Thanks in advance for any answers and replies...

Only the artboard tool can move or edit artboards.

There is always at least one artboard in a file. If a real-world analog is helpful, the metaphorical basis for the Illustrator workspace is paper (artboard) on a pasteboard or drawing board (the rest of the visible work area). You can draw anywhere in the file, but the artboard is used for export operations and importing in other software.

One of them looks like the artboard (i.e. the 'page' in Illustrator). Can you select and move it with the artboard tool (Shift + O)?

The other I'm not sure. Perhaps a guide? Can you select it with the white selection tool and see what it says in the layers panel? If not, can you go to View > Guides > Unlock Guides and try again?

Wow, thank you so much! Yes (Shift + O) worked like a charm!

So these were artboards created earlier and I was only able to select them with (Shift+O) right?
