Hi,

remember the Photoshop Splash Screen Freeze Bug a couple of weeks ago?
Yea... I had to swipe clean my entire Adobe CC Apps. But since my Workstation is a little overaged by now I need to rely on older CC versions. Which I had to delete bc...

I contancted support to give me access to older apps Installers which worked quite mediocrely...
Now I got Illustrator 26.0 (and other apps) but I can't update it through Creative Cloud Desktop  App.

Anyone got an idea how to update the instable Illustrator 26.0 to latest version 26.5.3?

Thanks!

Hello @gundalf,

Thanks for reaching out. As per Adobe policy, we only have two major versions available for any Adobe application which is N and N-1.
We only provide the N-2 version as an exception, but only the base version is available. Learn more here: (https://adobe.ly/3MvXX4o).

Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need assistance. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks,
Anubhav

Yea, thanks that dont help but I'd rather dont want to debate about this version policy stuff bc its bs.

But... Adobe products don't seperate by version numbers rather than compatbility. In my case I pay for CC for about 10 years and therefore I somewhere in time I owned Illustrator Version 26.5.3. THIS is the Version that works for me on my system.
So now I had to delete everything (fault of  Adobe) and now I can't get my workstation operational anymore.

Support got me Version 26.0 which is in an miserable stability state and always crashes rather then closing itself besides other issues.

So I its neat that i can go back one Version in case I do not have time and nerves to struggle with the release candidate bugs. But its not what i NEED. I need a stable Version that is compatible with my system, my old files i created over the past 15 years and what not.

Oh and i am looking for Flash Porfessional 2015 latest Version too by the way...

So what are my options here?
