how to use adobe illustrator sdk

i want write a c++ function that can read a .eps file and rotate the picture in the document,then save.can it be achieved by Adobe illustrator sdk? i read the document,and it tell me that sdk is used for create plug-in for AI,so i am wonder whether it can be achieved.

Your project sounds doable to me if you're doing a simple image rotation, and not rotating an object in a 3D space. Then again, you could probably accomplish your goal much faster and easier by writing a script, an Action, or simply doing it in Illustrator.
