You'd think it would be ideal for all kinds of precise geometric work but I'm not so sure.
I've been trying to reproduce a church window in illustrator using the ancient 3 circles method and the results I'm getting aren't precise.
Even using the Align and Transform panels does not result in perfection and by that I mean that when you zoom in and hit Command+Y to view the real paths, ugly overlaps abound and there doesn't seem to be any way to specify circle by radius, etc.

nice. can you post a link to this method. i'm interested.
situations like this, where you're likely to notice tiny errors in building drawings with circles, may be due to the inherent inaccuracy of creating circles with bezier curves.

The plugin SubScribe doesn't help with the circles?
It's free, so you could try.

Great- I'll try it tonight (GMT offset 0) and report back with results,
plus a description of the method.
Thanks!
