Two years ago I bought myself an HP Spectre 360 XP, especially for using it for drawing on Illustrator. In Windows 10 in worked pretty well. Now Windows 11 doesn't have a tablet mode at all, i can't use Illustrator in tablet mode. Offcourse you can use touch mode, but it's different and useless in many ways. For example working with layers isn't the same as in tablet mode. I used Krita and Sketchbook as for a while, but i need the possibilties of Illustrator.
Does anybody know a solution to use Illustrator in tablet mode on windows 11 / HP Spectre 360Xp?
I think you can mimic the behavior of the legacy tablet mode by disabling features like the new gestures in the group policies editor (type gpedit.msc in the search bar in teh start menu). Can't advise on specifics, though, since I'm not on Win 11 to check things.
